Established by Phillip and Judy Cross in 1994, Angas Plains Wines is a family owned and operated business located in the heart of the Langhorne Creek wine region southeast of Adelaide, in South Australia. Langhorne Creek is traditionally a red wine grape region best known for its full bodied Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz. Their wine maker, Peter Douglas ensures the wines crafted are well balanced and offer the consumer a great mouth filling pleasurable drink.

Angas Plain Wines also offers the Cellar Door Langhorne Creek which is set right in the heart of their vineyard offering a quiet setting with where patrons can sample what they have to offer. In this fully enclosed area, guests can sit at tables and relax while drinking a glass of wine with a light meal, enjoying a beautiful view over the vineyard and the hills beyond Strathalbyn.

Phillip is responsible for managing all major aspects of the business as well as overseeing the daily operations. He handles the financials of the enterprise and participates in yard work in the winery. Under his incredible leadership, Angas Plains Wines was runner-up for the Winestate Cabernet Sauvignon Wine of the Year 2008. They also won the Gold Medal Trophy Fleurieu Peninsula Dry Red Wine at the McLaren Vale Show in 2007.
