Baseball Careers Continuing with the Following Commitments led by Kevin Fagan to Stetson, Alex Nickles to Lafayette, Lance Elder to Marshall, and Ryan Paradis to Dickinson
Lance Elder, already on campus, has impressed his coaches while Fagan, Nickles and Paradis prepare to finish their high school careers with strong senior seasons.
PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL, October 26, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- "We are so pleased for the families of Kevin Fagan, Alex Nickles, Lance Elder, and Ryan Paradis as all four will receive tremendous educations while continuing their baseball careers in college," said Gary Cohn, coach and co-founder of Time to Sign Sports.
Following in the tradition of others within the Time to Sign Sports service, these four student athletes will attend Stetson, Lafayette, Marshall, and Dickinson respectively. As all four families have said, Time to Sign Sports really worked hard at creating a course of action to determine the right fit for each guy.
Kevin Fagan has been one of the dominant two-players in South Florida for a couple of years. "I've known Kevin and his family for years and I can honestly say Stetson hit it out of the park in getting Kevin to commit to them," says Berg Ohanian, the company's other coach and co-founder.
Alex Nickles brings a strong body and a 90+ arm to Lafayette College. According to Ohanian, "Alex had several offers, but in the end, Lafayette offered the best fit of academics and baseball for him and the family. We expect Alex to have a tremendous career as a two-way player."
Lance Elder, a 2011 High School graduate, is already on campus for the Thundering Herd of Marshall. "Lance brings a great attitude to the school and a lively arm already hitting 90 consistently off the mound," says Cohn. "We believe he has a real opportunity to be an impact player for the school as a Freshman."
Ryan Paradis is a big swinging first baseman from perennial high school power, Don Bosco Prep in New Jersey. "Ryan's commitment to Dickinson was fate. After receiving other attractive offers, Ryan and his family felt that the Red Devil program was the perfect fit," states Cohn.
Time to Sign Sports believes that each student-athlete has unique needs and abilities. The decision on where to play ball in college must be based on many factors - the most significant being the academic standards. As Time to Sign Sports continues its mission of advising high school baseball players and their families about the recruiting process, it also believes it must help those who are less fortunate financially. "Over the next couple of months, Time to Sign Sports will launch a foundation to help those from low and low-moderate income families," says Cohn. Ohanian adds, "Too often, great student-athletes get overlooked simply because they cannot afford to get the proper exposure. Financially, the national tournaments, showcases, and college camps are a financial hardship." The foundation being created by Time to Sign Sports will fill this needed void.
Time to Sign Sports congratulates Fagan, Nickles, Elder, and Paradis on their commitments and accomplishments.
