The parade features bands and students and groups carrying fire lit torches in a large procession that lights up the night sky.

The festivities last from 22nd to 23rd June 2011, and 23rd marks the Grand Duke's birthday along with commemorating Luxembourg's most popular and successful ruler, the Grand Duchess Charlotte.
